Ambassadors for Peace

Ambassadors for Peace Program of Universal Peace Federation, Canada (UPF)

Launched in 2001, Ambassadors for Peace is the largest and most diverse network of peace leaders. As of 2026, it includes more than 100,000 Ambassadors from 160 countries representing many races, religions, nationalities, and cultures.

Ambassadors for Peace commit to:

Acknowledging that all people originate from one Creator and share a common spiritual nature

Standing on universal moral principles rooted in personal integrity, family ethics, and constructive social engagement

Forming a global network that promotes reconciliation, overcomes barriers, and builds peace

Promoting cooperation beyond boundaries of religion, race, ethnicity, and nationality

Practicing “living for the sake of others” as the guiding principle for a global community

Core Principles of Peace

  • We are one human family created by God. The parental heart of the Creator can help resolve differences between nations, cultures, and religions.

  • The highest qualities of human beings are spiritual and moral. We pursue truth, beauty, and goodness, and prepare our eternal spirit through living by spiritual principles.

  • The family is the “school of love and peace.” A faithful, committed marriage is the foundation of a healthy family and society.

  • Living for the sake of others reconciles the divided human family by shifting from self-centered to other-centered living.

  • Lasting peace requires cooperation beyond ethnicity, religion, and nationality, addressing root causes of conflict through forgiveness and love.
